Can I Land in any state on H4 ?

Hi All

I am Coming to US for first time on H4. My Spouse is in Illinois. But, I am landing in California. Is this fine ? I heard it could be a problem as my spouse is working in Illinois & having Illinois LCA.

Pls advice.

----if asked at POE explain why you are landing in California. you know the reason why you are coming to CA not Illinois.
