Only sponsering entity (Corp LLC etc) can employ you. Your CEO may be having several company/shops, unless that entity sponsers you , you can not work for them. You can work through sponsering company but W2 is only from sponsering company. If CEO wants you to work different company let him get concurrent H1 approved for this purpose.
