Can i go in different state instead of sponsor's state?

Again, just want to clear my doubt.

I got my visa. At the time of interview, i have submitted welcome letter sent by relatives from colorado. And also i said i want go colorado to the Consular when he asked about it. Now i am planning to go another state but i don't know either i can take entry at any other state or not.

My question is, Is it compulsary to go colorado at the time of port of entry?
 
the answer to your question will always be the same: you can enter wherever you want (just make sure to change the address to which they should send the green card once you arrive at the port of entry)
