My EAD, I-140 both are approved and waiting for I-485. I want to invoke AC21 as its been over 180 days since my I-485 is pending. However my current employer is not very co-operative. can I change my employer without notifying to him about it? Can there be any damages, he can do with my GC processing? Is there any documentation I need to collect before I leave him. He is very unfriendly and I am sure would do anything bad if he can. So I want to make sure I am safe to leave him.
Also I don't have copy of the substibute labor used for me and also don't have copy of I-140. To invoke AC21 do I need any of these?

from ur post I think U r safe for AC-21. go ahead and join new employer. ur current employer cannot do anything to ur pending 485 and u r safe even if he revoked approved 140.

if you need copies of LC and 140 file a FOIA where ur 485 is pending. u dont need these for AC-21.

fast_gc_seeker, thanks for your reply. I was wondering don't I need copy of my labor and I-140 as to know what skillsets, titles mentioned in my GC application. Doesn't it rquire to have "same or similar" job duties, titles for new job offer letter? Or since my new job is also in IT that suffices the need for "same or similar"?
does "same or similar" mean same industry? since both (current and future) jobs are in IT, is that enough or do I need to know exactly skillsets mentioned in my labor? please advise.

if you want to find out job duties listed in ur LC then you should use FOIA to get copies of LC.

It's always good to have copies of all receipt and approval notice.

Working for the same industry does not qualify "same or similar" jobs.
You should have the same/similar job description to invoke AC21.
