Can I apply for I 485 for myself now and apply for my wife and child little later?

My wife and child (both H4) are travelling overseas. Still, I haven\'t got my 140 approval. If I get my 140 approval, Can I apply I 485 for myself and later, include them when the come back.

Apply I-485 for all members at the same time ...

as it will
1. decrease the possiblity of RFE
2. you can use EAD at any time. If you use EAD and your family members have not filed 485, they will not be able to file 485 as H4 status is gone as soon you start working on EAD.
