can i apply for h1 or l1 visa now and start working in USA while I-130 for me is in process?

Hello, I-130 for me will become current after approx. 2. 5 years. may take longer. my son has to do premed in US to get admission to medical. he is in 11 th grade now. he will lose his imp. years if we reach there late. so I want to stay and work in US from now , so that I can take my son there and support his education and family. Can i get H1 or L1 visa if the company in US is willing to hire me now ? I am SAS programer. will this application for H1 or L1 or approval of H1 or L1 damage my green card application status or green card application strength in any way ?
 
L visas require a "pre-existing" employer-employee relationship of one year within the prior three years. The H visa requires specific qualifications.

Otherwise, go for it.
