Can a H1 visa application be cancelled before getting approved?

Hi All,
Need advice.
I have filed for H1 b visa but lately personal constraints have forced me to contemplate withdawing my application back. The application was filed two months back and has received no results as of date. If somebody can then pls guide me as to how should i go about this issue now? How badly would this affect my future visa applications for US?

If somebody can then pls guide me as to how should i go about this issue now?
How badly would this affect my future visa applications for US?

- -----------it seems your H1 was filed by US employer with USCIS, employer can withdawing H1 petition and can also revoke the approved H1 petition. you cant do anything. if you dont want to come to US on that employer H1 or dont want to join that employer then you dont need to do anything.
