I called VSC yesterday at first Automated system can not find my case number so I got transfered to Customer service rep.

They do not give any extra information other then what your online case status shows. I asked her about name check she would not say if it is cleared or not. She said if I do not hear anything in 98 days I should give them call back.

any one have same experience?

I am Agust 2007 filer.

I did an InfoPass yesterday (2/15). The IO told me that my name check has cleared and that I should expect to receive an IL in 1-2 months. I called customer service also, begging and pleading with them to be transferred to an IO. I even used all the tricks we've discussed on this forum. The service rep refused to connect me to an IO, so I scheduled an InfoPass. I posted my experience under "NYC InfoPass Update" thread, it should be on the first couple of pages.
 
Yeah, I think the days of being connected to an IO are over or swiftly coming to an end.

Infopass may be the way to go from now on...:(

Yeah, it sure seems that way. Hopefully, I won't have to do another InfoPass...unless, of course, I don't get an IL by the end of April.
