Called emergency number

I called th emergency# today. The lady was good. She refused to give me much info. about my 140. The reason she gave me was, I140 is company related. So, she can only disclose it to either the attorney or the contact person from the company (whose name appears in the application forms). Funny thing, in my case the HR person who signed from my company is no longer with our company. Then, I enquired about my 485 and she said it is pending, though there is no problem with the Name-Check ( that's what she says. But I am not counting too much into it).

Mine is EB3 labor Sub. case, filed march, 2004. Replied to RFE on 2/1/05. Received by CIS on 2/7. No updates since then. Anyway, the only good thing was, the person was quite nice. Will try to call sometime next week to see if I can get any other info.

I called the emergency # on monday 4/11 for my I-140 and 485 but there is no LUD yet. Eagerly waiting for 140 to get approved and then 485. God know how long have to wait :(

How come u have so many LUD's on your I140..That too after spare of couple of months ..Your case scares me..BTW what was the RFE about?
 
Do not worry. I also called emergency number on 4/11 but no LUD change today. Last time, LUD change happened after 3 days. This time the officer took my phone number also in case of a need to get in touch with me for any additional information on 485. I am also hoping for positive action here.

By the way, calling emergency number is no guarntee of any approval. It all happens when you get lucky.

GC, I really don't know why I got LUD last year but the RFE was issued on 3/14/2005 to provide proof of SPECIAL REGISTRATION (I am from Bangladesh). the proof of SP was provide before but hey they issued RFE for that again. The RFE was received by USCIS on 3/28/2005 (received an email), after that there was LUD on 3/30/2005.

I called the emergency # twice last week for I-140 but no luck as expected.

Can you please let me know the emergency number for Nebraska as it’s been almost 365 days since I concurrently filed my I-140 / I-485.

Also does anyone advise me to call the emergency number? How far does it work?

7/2/04 --- 485 approved but not no news on I-140

I-485 of all my family members got approved on 4/14/2005 (recevied the email right now 4/18/2005) but yet to receive any notification on I-140. So I am not sure what to do now.

Any suggestions?

Congratulations on your 485 approvals. Check with your attorney...they must have received the I-140 approval. Sometimes we have seen in these forums that some people got their approval letters in mail without any message change or approval emails.

When you receive the 485 approval letters in your mail...update the forum.

Just got home and checked the mail box ... I have received the I-485 approval notices.

Both me and my spouse got FP done not biometrics. So when we go for stamping have to do the bio stuff.
