After getting NOF with 3 options, if I select option 3 (retest the market) , will DOL give another chance to convert it non-RIR if they don't approve ? What will be priority date in that case if they allow ?
I think, DOL will send your application to NON_RIR (SESA) for regular processing once they deny NOF results submited to them and PD wont be changed. some one please confirm this.
by the way, have u got NOF with 3 options? if yes what is your RD, let us know. thanks
Thanks. Yes, I got NOF with 3 options and going for 3rd option. I don't have RD but I know that my attorney has to reply back by 05/12/2003 for this NOF. PD is 06/11/2001.
We have LC pending for laid off employee with stated requirment of BS+5yrs experience. My employer is willing to substitute that LC for me once it will get approved. I have MS+9yrs experience. what are the chances for me to get approval of LC with this substitution ?
I have the following questions. It'll be great if someone throws some details about these:
1. Are software engineers and senior software engineers given the same DOT code or different?
2. Who assigns the DOT code -- the company at the time of filing the case or SESA/DOL at the time of processing?
One suggestion:
It will be very useful to all in the message board if details like position (title), degree, number of years of experience etc are posted along with the NOF notification. This will give a clear picture of what kind of cases are issued NOF.
You can check the latest processing dates by dialing this number
415-975-4601.
Select option 1 and option 1 again.
This AVM is updated every monday and wednesday. Don't rely on DOL web site.
The cases prior to June 2002 are still in RECEIVED status, because the DOL database is not yet updated since april. It is better to check with your attorney.
Yes, the status on this phone number says they are processing june 2002. But I'm worried that noone with the dreaded 999.151-031 dot code has gotten approval (atleast not right away) in the past 6 months. Does that mean everyones getting the 3 option letter ?
This is just soo frustrating... what is the logic that drives the SFO DOL ?
Anyways, thanks for the info and good luck with the processing !

My priority date is 12-17-2001 and I got the receipt from DOL as
date of 02-24-2003. But, I couldn't find any dot code. Can anyone tell me how I can find it ? Thanks.

I've checked http://www.bls.gov/oes/2001/oes_stru.htm, but I couldn't find something like 999.xxx-xxx. I'm wondering how it is determined. Is it assigned from DOL ?
