Business License on EAD

I have pending I-485 more than 180 days. I am working for the same sponsoring employer. I have EAD and AP.

Can I get Business License with my EAD and work on couple of projects other than my job?

Need advice.

I had ask Rajiv in the Conference call if I could be an owner of a business while on EAD and he said yes. If we continue to maintain the H1 and employment with the company sponsoring the H1, I can do any business on the side... doesn't even have to be related to the H1.
