Boston Regional DOL Tracker

I just called Boston DOL (617 788 0152) and the lady said thay they are processing application in Boston DOL and for now no cases are moving to New York.
She said that this might happen in future depending on the workload. Currently the Boston is processing cases from first week of September.

So they are processing cases that were rec'ved in sep first week ( this is a good news) , is this RIR or NON-RIR ??? Can some one explain this since mine was sent to Boston DOL in AUG... and have heared nothing from my lawyer...

Thanks

Yeah surely that looks like good news, and is inline with what is going on for the last two months. By September first week I would assume they are just entering the cases from Sept first week into the System.

Receipt notice

Few questions:

Do Maine send any receipt notice that they receive labor application in SESA?

Who send the receipt notice that your application moved from state to Boston Regional for next processing?

It seams like pattern is not consistent, some says they got the Receipt # and some don't In my case too I did'nt have the Receipt #.

Thanks

GC_Maine

You are talking about Maine SESA receipt date, right?

What about Boston Regional receipt?

That is surprise... then how can we check our application status in state or regional and how we know that application moved from state to Regional for next processing?

Even for Boston DOL, I did'n rec'ved any Receipt #.

You need to ask your lawyer for proof, the state office will send a letter to the lawyer when they have moved your application to the Regional office. If by any chance AVM works then i think ( not sure abuot this ) by using entering your employer telephone #.

So the NY office is taking over the Boston DOL! Does that mean that from this point on the processing time of Boston DOL = NY DOL ? can anyone please explain this?
thanks

Why moved to NY DOL?

Does any body know the reasoning behind doing this stupid move?. I mean Boston DOL was almost current (i guess 2 to 3 month of processing is called current for this department.).
Are they going to hire more people to do processing at NY DOL or Move officers from Boston DOL to NY DOL?
This is really worrisome since if they dont increase processing capacity, then NY DOL will be stuck at May/june 04 for long long time. There will be flood of application from Boston DOL and no extra personel.

The only parallel I know as far as shifting is concerned is that when Denver had become current they shifted that work to Dallas!!!!! and shut down Denver

I think Denver is still regional labor processing center. They are not closed and they are current these days

Hello

Does calling the DOL jeopardise the Labour application process.

I only heard that it might jeoprdize if you call the SESA office. DOL is fine. I personaly feel it should not in SESA either, but there have been roumors floating around about SESA. Mostly all these roumors are started by the consulting companies as a deterrent tactics. They dont want you to know more than they know.

Can someone else call the Boston regional office and ask about their processing times?

I recently called and they know my name so I do not want to bother them too much.

If you find out the current processing date kindly post the information here.

Thanks

Go to immigration.com's site and see the date. I asked them specifically about the date as their date and the dol's official site are different. some Iqbas Hussain or someone replied from immigration.com that their date's are directly taken from the concerned dept. and thus are correct and uptodate.
