Birth Certificate

Hi,

I am an Indian citizen but was born in Sierra Leone, Africa.

On my passport, the place of birth is shown as Sierra Leone, however I do not have a birth certificate to prove this.

Could someone please advise me on how to tackle this situation for filing I485.

citizenship does not matter

You should try to get a BC from sierra lone and attach affidavits from your parents .
