Birth Certificate

Folks,

I have a birth certificate, but it does not mention my name on it, since it was given within a week I was born(before I was actually named). It does have my birth date, my father's name, mother's name and place of birth.
Is this sufficient for I-485 or do I need to get affidavits or anything else for that matter.
Have anyone got RFE for a Birth certificate without name and can you please let me know what you provided and if the USCIS accepted it.

Thanks

My son's birth certificate, which we submitted with his I-485 application, did not had his name.USCIS issued an RFE on this issue. We provided two affidavits, one from my sister-in-law and the other from my mother-in-law.These affidavits were made on Rupees 10.00 stamp papers and notorized by a first class magistrate. We did not submit any 'non-availaability of birth record' certificate as we already submitted his birth certificate (only thing that did not had his name on it) it may not be a good idea to subsequently submit 'non-availaability of birth record' which may raise further doubts! Within two weeks after we submitted those two affidavits,my son's I-485 had been approved.

In the affidavits, essentially it was mentioned that they confirm the date of birth and name given to my son as they were personally present in the hospital during his birth.

Hope this may help.
