Hi,
In my birth certificate, my father's first name is missing. Is that a problem. Do I have to get affidavits from my parents.

Questions:
1. Can I have my Father scan and email me the affidavit OR I need the original affidavit?
2. Does it matter what Rupee stamp paper I use. Rs10 or Rs50 or Rs100

----------------------- your Father scan and email you the affidavit and then you take out the printout and attach it with I-485. later he can mail you the original affidavit that you should keep with you.

My HR person told me to get this on a 20 Rupee stamp paper. Hope that helps...
