Biometric at BCIS

I have today received a notice to call BCIS and fix an appointment for Biometric. Whats that?

I assume for fingerprints and pictures.

I'm assuming its for your ead. I just had my appt at the Bronx BCIS location. Whole process took less than half hour. They took a photo and fingerprint of right index finger. Thats it.

Yes its for my EAD renewal. Do they issue EAD card instant after finger print...
