I just received a biometric appointment for my 5month old baby. Is this an error or does USCIS truly want to get a set of fingerprints from my baby? So, what kind of background check do they expect from a 5mon old?
My lawyer told me that children are not subject to background check, hence, they will waive the FP when they see her. I also called TSC and was told that my baby has to show up for the biometrics appointment. What a waste of time and resources!

It is better for kids to have GC with FP. This may not apply for your child but, GC holder without FP on the card will face many probems if they want to apply for DL, colleage ...etc. Just do it, no one knows when he will by USC
