Veteran filers,
pls help !

Is is true that the petitioner is not required to fill up all the details in the G325A form while filing I130 ? Just the name on top and bottom of the page and signature is required?
Pls let me know, it will save me tremendous time. Thx !!!

blazing fast reply..thx !

Dr Lha,
I read it in the instructions of I 130. Section 7 says something like this:

4) A completed and signed Form G-325A, BiographicInformation, for you and a Form G-325A for yourhusband or wife. Except for your name and signatureyou do not have to repeat on the Form G-325A theinformation given on your Form I-130 petition.

This is what made me rethink about filling out my bio info (am the citizen applying for my wife).

I see what you mean, however this doesn't mean you just have to name, sign and date the G-325A only. There is a lot of information that goes on the G-325A that isn't on the I-130, for example, last 5 addresses, jobs etc.

yea...I think I should stop being lazy...

...and just fill the form up :p

Thx a lot for your continued help on this forum, I have read a lot of your past posts and they are really helpful !! Cheers !!

There is a lot of information that goes on the G-325A that isn't on the I-130, for example, last 5 addresses, jobs etc.

It's addresses for the last 5 YEARS and not last 5 addresses, similarly for jobs.

Big difference in the 2 ;)

I-130 sent first and now it takes forever...

Hello everyone!

My husband filed I-130 for me at the end of January, they received it and sent Notice of Action. And still we haven't received anything else from them, no approval. I don't know what to do. Before applying, we called the USCIS and they told us to first send I-130, wait for the approval and then send i-485 and other documents. Seeing other people's messages, it seems we made a mistake sending I-130 without I-485, others' cases went so fast. What can we do to speed it up somehow?
Do you have any advise?

Thank you!

I agree with you...

Texas_girl,

why do you insist on posting the same question in three different topics?

This question is not even related to the thread and has been sprayed across diffrt threads..only to confuse others ??? Worst thing is, Lucy replied to you in another thread...didn't seem to pacify you...i guess.

I think "Texas girl" is a BOT....programmed to do this....
