Been to US on H1B twice, now trying for B1/B2 Visa

Hi all,

I have been to the US on H1B couple of years back, didn't overstayed and
everything was fine. Now I am planning to apply for Visitor Visa for a 6 week
period. I am 37 year old and my younger brother (a US Citizen) sent me the
invitation. Both of us are unmarried. What are the chances for me to get the
Visa? Does my previous (H1B) travel to the US would be any plus point?

Hello,

As you already been to USA on a "dual-intent" H1B Visa and came back (shows that you have
no intent to stay back in the USA), getting a B1/B2 Visa should not be a problem and yes,
though not a "granted", it will be a definite plus. Gook luck!

You should have a decent chance of successfully overcoming 214(b).
Just to be 100% clear, you did not need an invitation from your brother, or anyone for that matter. B-2 visas are self-sponsored.

What are the chances for me to get the
Visa? Does my previous (H1B) travel to the US would be any plus point?
