Please advise

Hello Guys,

Need an advise from fellow experts. My PD is April 2004 with EB3 category and RIR processing. I am expecting (hoping, based on tracker results) my labor to be certified soon. Though, I do not belong to China, India, Philippine or Mexico but due to visa number retrogression the PD of I140 for EB3 has gone back to April 2001 for all other countries. The priority date of EB2 is current for other countries.

Here is the question. I hold a Bachelor's degree with over 10 years experience. Is it worth re-applying under EB2, considering the labor is certified fairly quickly under PERM process? If so, then please advise the approximate duration of each step (starting from scratch) assuming I start the process as of 02/15/2006. Any referral of distinguished lawyers in this arena would be highly appreciated.

I got a call from my employer yesterday. He recieved a letter stating that my LC was approved. Thanks to forums and all the people that have been active keeping it up to date. Here are my details. I still donot see the light at the end of my tunnel but I know this will take me closer.
