BEC Priority Date Tracker

Case Update

Good job, JW,

Thanks for the post about getting the screenshot, here are some details for my case:

BEC: Dallas
Case #: T-05195-xxxxx
Status: Incomplete

For the status, does it mean it is just a partial input?
Also, what can be told from the Case #? Saw some starts with D-,

thanks,

Hello JustWatching,

Amazing work.
You are putting great efforts.

Hello. I am new on this site. I saw this question before but I can not find the answer. Can I write to get a shot screen to the adress for the h1b extension even if I am not in my 6th year of H1B?
:)
My case:
SWA: South Carolina
Regular
PD: 12-28-04
RD: transfered from South Carolina to Atlanta regional on January 31, 2005; don't know the date it was received
New BEC Case no. - don't have one
45-day letter Date received - not received yet
Processing Center: Philadelphia Backlog Elimination Center (should be)
Thank you.

Update: 45-day letter received

My employer just received a 45-day letter for my application. My case never made it to regional. It is a good news for those whose applications never made to regional. My ETA case number is the same expect for the initial letter which was changed from T to P. The following are my case details since I know some people will ask for it, even though it can be found in the tracker.

VA SWA
EB2 RIR
PD: 04/30/2003
45-day letter received: 09/07/2005 (date on the letter)
45-day letter responded: not yet (will update after responded)
ETA case number: P-05151-48***

Let us keep our fingers crossed.

I have a Ph.D. from a university in the US with about 3 years of experience after that. I may also apply for GC through outstanding researcher category. I do not know if I should pursue that option or what for my LC to be approved. Any comments on this?

JW, thanks much for your invaluable work of maintaining the tracker.

Thanks once again for a great work.

Update from AILA

From AILA InfoNet:

Sept. 12, 2005

Total number of cases forwarded to the two [backlog reduction] centers was approx. 345,000. In addition, there are still [~3,000-5,000] cases in the San Francisco and New York regional offices which will be closed in early Jan. 2006.

Approximately 90% of the cases now at the centers have had at least partial data entry. However, it is only with full data entry that the 45 day letters are sent out. There are at least 100,000 pending cases on which only partial data entry has been done. During the next few months, the Centers will be working to complete full data entry on these cases and issue the 45 day letters.

The Centers have been working RIR and traditional cases where recruitment was completed previously and no further recruitment was required. While they are not yet ready to process cases that will require recruitment, in the coming months, they will be preparing to work these cases and preparing to deal with all related issues such as prevailing wage and job orders. To date, the Centers have adjudicated tens of thousands of cases.

PBEC reply

Hi

I have sent information to PBEC to get 7th year extension, I got following reply

ETA Case Number: - T-0****
Processing Type: - RIR
Employer Name: My Employer Name
Priority Date: 28 Mar 2005
Case Source: State
Processing Center: Dallas Backlog Elimination Center

My question is
What should i think, is everything is fine and just wait
What does "T" means in the case number?
Why my case from NJ was sent to Dallas BEC instead of Phi BEC?

Please help

Thanks
