BCIS Stats

BCIS has a staggering 1.2 million 485 pending adjudications. Wonder how much of that is from TSC. They shamelessly mention about these details in their website.

The BCIS statistics which were just released for the month of April 2003 reflect that the approval of immigration benefit applications dropped 26% in March 2003 as opposed to March 2002, while the number of pending cases increased 36%, reflecting the drastic halt or slow-down of adjudication of cases during last one year.

· An undercount of initial receipts for all Service Centers was discovered due to a software misclassification of receipts as cases transferred-in. February and March receipts were revised upward to correct for this misclassification.
· Total immigration application pending cases reached 5,023,666, a 36 percent increase when compared to March 2002.
· Major volumes in March 2003 receipts include: 148,263 I-765 employment authorizations; 68,144 I-130 relative petitions; 63,636 I-90 Green Card renewals/replacements; and 60,334 I-485 permanent resident adjustments.
· Major volumes of pending cases at the end of March 2003 include: 1,772,648 I-130 relative petitions; 1,118,087 I-485 permanent resident adjustments; 744,809 I-90 Green Card renewals/replacements; and 396,571 I-765 employment authorizations.

Good info Tru! (although very depressing)
Thanks.

I just filed for our 3rd EAD & AP.
I 'm wondering how many people are onto their 4th EAD already.
Never thought it could get that far but its a real possibility now..

Good Data. (although very depressing)...

Filed for 3rd EAD + AP. ( TSC )

I hope they come out with some clarifications on the AC21. !

good information

I am with third EAD (one IEAD to get the third EAD). Already applied 3 APs (may have to get I AP). Plan to apply EADs and APs, every six month now.
May be, this is the cost and future lifestyle of living in this country (Well, that is what they called as American way of living).

Another such 'cost':

My wife just renewed her driver's license. Her new license is renewed upto the EAD expiration date!
Once she gets the next EAD, she'll need to renew the dr. license as well.

Waiting in those lines is hell.. because believe me, if there's another entity that's as inefficient as TSC, if not worse, its the DMV.

I'm counting on not applying for a fourth EAD..
