BCIS might be following pattern for approving

Oct1RD01,
Based on trend right now, I would say you are not going get RFE. Your case is already over due. These are the positive points about your case.

1) FP2 results are updated
2) FBI check is done
3) Security check is done (for some guys it is taking forever)

I hope they will not cause any delay in approval by sending rfe notice. (Not 100% sure.)

But it is all depends on officer who is handling your case. You are going to hear good news before end of next week (I wish and believe).

manumahi/dengdeng,

What your options about my case?

RD: Oct 23 2001
FP1: Feb 06 2002
FP2: Jul 23, 2003
No RFE

Called FBI and told at the same day (07/232003) the FP2 was sent to INS. How can I know about what is going on with my Security check?

Thanks in advance!!!

blueIce,
According to my theory they are processing july and august fp or RFE replies. I would expect that your case will be approved by now. If you don't hear any thing in 1 or 2 weeks time. Approach any senator to find out the actual reason behind delay.

manumahi,

Thanks very much for qucik response. Any suggestion what is the most easiest and effcient way to approach senator? Any senator from your experience, would you mind let me know their number or email address or ?

Thanks Again!!

blueIce,
Where are you from?

Go to www.numbersusa.com. Find your senator name and his/her rank. Any thing with d or lower(f, g etc) are better.

Go to www.senate.gov get all details regarding contact address and way to contact him.

Most of the times you need to fill up casesheet . Meet personally handover your case sheet and explain them your problem in a humble way. Rest depends on how coopreative they are etc...

Best of luck

guys,
new Addition

gcwait200, 2ndFP: July 12, 2003, AD: Today.

I am sure they are clearing backlog slowly. Who responded fp and rfe in June, july and August months are under review. They are going to hear good news with in 2 weeks time.

manumahi,

I am from NY. When you said 'meet personally handover your case sheet', you meant we should arrange an interview to see senator in person or something else like hand in the form to district office or send the email? Appreciate your help!

Thanks again.

blueIce,
Most of the times Senators won't be in the office. All immigration realted matter will be handled by some body in this office. Senator never make any calls (unless it is useful to him, kidding)

"Personally handover" means meet his office person explain your problem (Take donuts or some thing as a friendly gesture). In that way person feels like doing some thing for you.

Best of luck
