Went to Baltimore on September 3rd to check if there are any news about the interview.
Case was transferred from VSC on May 17 "to speed processing" (what an irony!).
Case was received by BINS on May 25.
Appalachian-looking lady informed me that the case is still in the "box" and she could not tell me when it would be scheduled for interview. She told me that they have finished scheduling cases for interview up to October 10, so my interview will be some time after that. She told me that I should hear from them in another 60 to 90 days (standard answer, I guess). I asked her why some people who were transferred about the same time or at a later date already had their interview scheduled -- standard answer: "each case is individual."
I need to tell you that it first when I told her my TD, she answered me "let me see what is your interview date" and she looked a bit surprised when she looked at computer screen to find out that no interview was scheduled yet. That made me believe that many people with my TD got their interview scheduled already.
She also told me that all the cases that were transferred will get interviews. She also insisted that if the case is transferred, it means that there is something wrong with the papers and this is the only reason why it is in Baltimore. I guess they are looking really hard trying to find "what is wrong" with each case.
Anyway, INS nightmare continues....
