Baltimore -spouse got GC, primary applicant pending

Baltimore -spouse got GC, primary applicant pending. Any ideas ?

Anyone has the same experience ?

I-485(EA1a) RD 12/14/2001
Interview - Nov 2003 (Baltimore)
The officer told us: spouse name check Ok, primary applicant -pending.
"We can't stamp spose's passport until the prim. applicant approved"

The same message we've heard during 6 months at Baltimore SC when we come in person.

Now my spouse's case got approved, she received her plastic GC, and my case is still pending the name check (FBI or CIA).
How is it possible ??

Any ideas of what to do ?

--- wait for few days OR immidiatly visit Baltimore Local USCIS office and ask for the expanation or your GC up date

The problem is that we went to Baltimore after my spouse got her approval, and the answer was that she got her clearance and I am not...
"How is it possible that she got her approval without me ?"
The answer that time was: "Yes, it is normal. We do that."
My reference to the previous contrary statements did not help !

I do not know what to do.
They say that the name check can take arbitrary time.

----if it is a name check then it takes time, and no fixed time for that it can be 2-4 months
