April 27, 2001. Here\'s my detail:

not heard from INS about interview date. called Baltimore office and they gave this BS about 14 months!

I have a suggestion. In addition to the info about the dates, let\'s also indicate what the transfer notice says. I am aware of at least two types of notices. Let\'s see it it makes any difference.

One says: "This is to advise you that in order to speed processing we have transferred the above case
to the following INS office for processing: Fallon Federal Building, 31 Hopkins Plaza, Baltimore, MD 21201
That office will notify you of the decision made on the application or petition. Any further inquiries should be made to that office."

The other one says: "Preliminary processing of the application has been completed and has been transferred to Baltimore. That office will notify you when they schedule an interview on the application. Further inquiries should be made to that office."

But i moved to maryland and ask arlington to transfer my file to Baltimore on may 9th
Arlington office transfer and on 15th may Baltimore office received my file.
Iwent to Baltimore office today they told me i will be geting letter from them in 1 or 2 weeks.

notice from the transfer date? (My case was transferred to
Baltimore on May 17 and I still do not have a Transfer Notice)

I got it about a week after the transfer date. You have a good chance to get it today or tomorrow.

I got my transfer notice about a week after the actual
transfer. I received the notice first then I checked
the AVM and it also said the same thing...

I\'m sure yours will arrive anytime soon now.

I had my interview on 4/19/01 - ND 2/00 transferred on 2/13/01. The officer did not give any decision yet. Scared, frustrated.

This is indeed a good one. My transfer date is also
4/27/01 and ND is 10/12/00. I hope in about a week
we\'ll get our interview appointment too!

karri, does your friend have a lawyer? If yes, who got the interview notice, the lawyer or your friend? Thanks.

My friend does not have any lawyer. We both work for same company and our company lawyer applied for 485. But My friend recieved the transfer notice and the interview appointment letter also at the res address mentioned in 485. Hope this helps. Hopefully we all get the interviews pretty soon.
