To be removed: Couples of weeks back, I started a thread and planned to start a fax campaign. Some friends advised to wait till Presidential elections as most congresspersons and the whole nation was in the midst of elections and our petition may not be noticed.
Let us start faxing to Congresspersons from this Thursday.

Your efforts are commendable; but I think, from a pragmatic standpoint,
nothing's gonna come out of it.
 
It's good that we have more than 15 people coming forward to post their status. I guess that we have hundreds of people with receipt dates of 2002 and early 2003 (before March'03). I request all of them to come forward and post their receipt dates here .
THIS IS A SERIOUS EFFORT FROM US. WE ARE GOING TO SEND THIS LETTER TO 40 CONGRESS MEN IN THIS WEKEND.

Apart from a generic mass broadcasting of mail,
is there anything else we can do ?

I have some rapport with two of my Local Congressman ( one for my
previous address and one for the later and more recent one ); and if
we have a substantial count, I can try to arrange for us as a group to
meet them. It can raise the seriousness level of the effort by a notch, for
sure.

Again, if you are all willing.
 
I am glad that good number of people are coming forward and posting their details. Let's keep this thread alive dynamically for a couple of days. After a couple of days, we can make it a sticky thread.

As mentioned in the letter...
We need volunteers for personal affadavits...We don't need from too many people...

If you are interested in submitting the affadavit, please let us know.

One can mention the efforts in reaching uscis...One can also mention the problems because of delays...career progression, inability to buy home etc...tuition fees for you, spouses and/or Kids.

I am submitting an affadavit ... the matter is more or less I mentioned in the post( 3rd post in this thread)..My area of concern is career progression.
