Backlog elimination

I sincerely believe that gino and lazer are in some sort of 'third-party' additional background checks. Remember they are using outside companies for background checks. I think one of them is windsor 'something' inc. or similar. Last week, my lawyer said that she has seen massive approvals that she did not see ever before. She did not say which years though. Also most of her clients are from former soviet block and south america.

I work for the U.S government and they do our background checks every year. The whole process through any other contractor takes 1 week max..or 2 weeks..in worst cases 1 month. If there are 100 more ginos and 100 more lazer's...where's the backlog elimination????? Thats creating more backlogs...

I will be more positive if they start approving 1999 cases and 2000 cases before they get to 2001. Its crazy that somoene who submitted in 1999(gino) or 2000(Lazer) would get approval same or after someone who submitted in 2001(me)...I wish i could be positive about USCIS but its frustrating because they dont even update that stupid 12/99 date...thats the date they talk about if you call them.

Your time will come soon, be patient. They do not update the 12/99 date because they do not want people calling all the time. With that date they are just caring themselves. One day Want, one day you will be approved. ;)

U.S Postal Service- Engineering

They hire anyone who doesn't require sponsorship(e.g H1 Visa).

wantmygcnow! Thanks for not being a Hypocrite.....

And for Those who have ND's of 2001 and wish that CIS bypass 2000 and start approving 2001 cases might find themselves in a situation where CIS would bypass them and approve 2002 cases.

This is a highly frustrating situation and I wish nobody to be caught in it.

What rubbish!! Do you honestly think that if they approve your case before a case thats ahead of you, you will refuse to accept it!!

Hey Hey! I did not say. Nobody would do that. But there are some members of this forum who dearly wish that CIS approve their case bypassing all before them. Its all about how you think.

Well!!! If wishes were horses, beggers would ride!! you and Wantmygc are constantly insinuating that to be approved ahead of someone is some kind of a SIN!! No one can help it..! What can one do if USCIC holds up one case and let another go! No one is at fault, so stop making others feel guilty..I wish you and all others from 1999/2000/2001 success..but if someone from 2002 gets it first..hey no need to bitch about it.. because that person didnt do anything wrong..why should he be made to feel guilty about it????

want,

Why do you think they make difference between refugees and asylees? I know for fact that refugee background check OUTSIDE US is not any different then any other visa. They just require different papers to prove the fact they are eligable for refugees. Once we are all here in US why would asylees have harder time getting the GCs?

Samird, You must be away on mars for the last few years. You ask why would asylees have a harder time getting the GCs? HEllo do you remember the stupid CAP? Was that equality among other classes of GC? That cap was horrible thing but it was put in place for ONLY ASYLEEEEEEES!

Now the cap is removed, Why are asylees still treated as if the CAP was still in place? CAn you answer that? There will always be a difference between Asylees and Refugees.

In simple terms, Refugees are people U.S.A picks and chooses among to bring to their coutnry while Asylees are people forced on them due to the 1951 Geneva Convetion about Asylum.

Free,Ci_Asylee, What you are responding to and Lazerthegreat and myself are responding to is Human nature. Who doesn't want to get in front of a line? Ofcourse I do..but is it right? No its not. Its not anyone's fault if GC is issued to them before someone else's turn..But I simply said that USCIS SHOULD STOP ACCEPTING MORE WORK IF THEY CAN'T COMPLETE THE WORK THEY HAVE!!..Meaning WHY raise the hopes for 2002 applicants when you haven't even processed 1999,2000,2001 applicants?? NO need to fight...If you get your GC before me..Congrats to you but this post was about backlog elimination which is a joke for me since BACKLOG really means something that has been sitting in a queue for a long time....To eliminate an application that was submitted in 2005 is not BACKLOG REDUCTION...

Wantmygcnow:

Asylees are not treated as if the cap was still there. On the contrary, USCIS is processing cases with ND 2002 that are supposed to be processed by Oct/06-Sep/07. Obviously they are moving. I understand you and others are frustrated, but I assure you will get your GC before me :D .

hey want calm down. I do understand that there was a cap 'once upon a time' but actually I asked YOU a question since you still claim that asylees are treated in a different way. So legally (can you find me a reference in CIS policies and procedures) why do you think they will apply backlog reduction to every other case but not for asylum. I am sorry but I just do not understand. They clearly say that backlog will be eliminated/reduced for ALL cases. Why should we believe that we will be left out this time because they had a cap before?

Oh for God's sakes WM..(May I call you just WM..wantmygcnow is just too long to write..) everyone on this forum seems to be an authority on human nature and righteousness. But the simple truth is that none of this is in our hands..we can just flutter and hit our heads against the wall and die of frustration..So what!! No one cares..no one is bothered..so why to create unneccessary aggravation. Lets all be friends and hold each other's hands in these hard times..Wish them well who accomplish and leave..and pray for those who are still with us..

CI_asylee, I dare you to get that "ND 2002 cases for asylees are being processed now" from an Immigration officer on the 1800 line..IF a ND 2003 gets approval tomorrow..you are inclined to call USCIS but you will meet with frustrations when they tell you to call in 4 years since they are processing 12/99 cases..

I will not call USCIS, they make you lost your time and do not know anything. I will wait until my time comes. Your time will come soon, just wait, and pray it helps. :)
