I'm a U.S. born citizen married to a Canadian living in Canada and we just had a baby. I was wondering if we decided to move to the states, I understand my son can't have dual citizenship because the U.S. oath that he would take would denounce his Candian citizenship. But I was wondering if there was an easy way to apply for him to just be a permanent resident so that we could move there but still leave the door open if we wanted to move back to Canada. So my question is, what would I have to do to have my son move with me to the U.S., but still keep his Canadian citizenship?
