B2 US visa will visit canada. I have visa for one year and I-94 stamps for 6 months.

1. When I visit Canada, will I get new I94? If so, will it be another 6 month stamp starting the date when I am back from Canada?

2. should I go by car or by plane?

3. should I surrender the old I94?

Do not plan to visit Canada with the expectation of re-entering the US with another 6 month duration I-94.

If you intend to be in Canada for 30 days or less, do not surrender your I-94. I hope you are not visitng Canada just in the hope of getting another 6 months in the US. That may turn into a hot potato.
