B2 visas after 10 years are complete

Hi Knowledgeable:

we would need to apply for a renewal of a visitor B2 (pleasure) visa at the Bombay consulate for mother in law. The first 10 years are complete, and would need to apply for a renewal. Her husband passed away 2 years ago and she is alone now. she has papers to show property available in Dombivli, near Bombay.

Could anyone tell us what the current status is of renewal of visas from Bombay consulate, and is it ez to get it after the first 10 years are over, and are there any rejections.

She has come to US in the initial period of 10 years on 3 occasions.

You have stated that she came on 3 occasions during her 10 year visa period. In those 3 occasions, if she had returned to her home country before her I 94 dates, without any extensions, then, she stands a good chance of getting her visitor visa.
