Hi Guys,

I have scheduled my interview in Ottawa for B2 Visa.
Could you please tell me the documents to take to the interview? Any special comments regarding any preparation?
What about proof of funds? How much minimum balance should we have on our bank statements?

Take any document that proves social and financial ties to Canada.
You should have $100/day for the length of your visit to the US. They goal is to convince the consul that you have strong ties to return to Canada in a timely manner after your visit to the US.

Thanks for your reply but the interview was last week and I got the visa.

No.
Not even a single document.
I believe it depends on how you dress up and present yourself.
Strongly recommend to everyone to dress up good when you go for US interview.
