I love to read posts like yours (which are rare) in this kind of forums, I get very soothing feeling.

I am planning to apply for extension for my mom in a month or so. I thought I would get better, but even after 2 months, I am still working from home and can do only few minutes walk and sitting.

I am prepared for, in case my mom's extension gets rejected, as I have decided to go back to India as soon as I become a citizen. My mom may not have to come back after this trip. (God, please)

This forum was very helpful and lot of my questions were answered. I will ask specific questions, if need be.

Let me ask one question. We are very close to Canada, do u guys know anyone or any info, who got more than 3 months extension, after visiting Canada?

Neither is a good reason since both could have been addressed with a better timed initial entry. I-539s should ideally be used for life/death emergencies.
