b2 to h1b

Is it possible to transfer from a B2 to H1B? If you have done so, would you pls share your experience? Thanks.

I have not done it, but it is fairly simple. You need to file I539 apart from all the other h1 docs. Apply only after 3 months on B2. Actually The employer need to file the application.

B1 to H1b

How about B1 to H1b? need to go back to home country ??? or stay here? bcz H1b starts on oct1,2004
