B1 visa refusal under 214(b)

My B1 Visa has refused after 4th question on 4 Aug 2008.

VO: What is type of your project?
ME: Software, Web application Related to Home Inspection
VO: What is the company you working for?
ME: Told company name
VO: How long you are working for this company?
ME: For past 4 years
VO: you annul Income?
ME: 1.7 Lakhs
VO: typed some thing in her system and issued me a 214(b) form (She not looks any of my documents).

They refuse my visa because of my salary? I mentioned my designation as Project manager.

I planned to reapply and attend the interview by end of this month.

What are the things I have to take care in my next attempt?

Your salary may be just one factor that resulted in the 214(b) based refusal.
Unless there is a drastic change in your circumstances, I personally do not think a second interview, so close to the first one, will result in an approval. Good luck however!!!

Shall I take my new Salary slip and Promotion Letter? Or need to take som4e thing else?
