One of my friend's entered US recently on B1 VISA. During the custom's check he was asked about the duriation of the stay. His answer to the question was 4-6 weeks, and he had a letter from his company stating that the duration of his stay will be 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately during his visa inter view he had mentitoned his durtaionw ill be 2-3 weeks.
the customs office told him that he lied at the US embassy. He can an i-94 approval only for 2 weeks as that was what told in the visa interview and my friend accepted it and he left USA in two weeks,
Will this affect my friend getting any future VISAs or any future Visit on B1 visa?
