B1/B2 visa application for my sister

Hello All,

I live in USA with a permanent green card and am married to a US citizen for 4 years. My sister will be visiting me from Turkey for a week in October. She is about to get an appointment from US Consulate in Turkey. She is employed by a well-known company in Turkey and has all the necessary documents from them. She and my mother (who she lives with) have a well balance in their bank account and my mom is also on a retirement pension in Turkey.

My question is, she will stay in our apartment through out her one week stay. I will send a consulate letter to her with my bank account info mentioning that she will stay with us, etc. Do I need to file I-134 AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT or is it not necessary? My sister is single, 31 years old.

If she can show that she can take care of the expenses herself, you don't need to send I-134. Otherwise, you do.

Not required. Your sister is financially independent and her application should reflect that.
