B1/B2 Expiration Date and Entry to US

Hi all, my aunt has a B1/B2 which expires in August. She is planning on visiting here for couple of months late summer. If she travels before her visa expires in August, would she be allowed in or is it better to go ahead and obtain a new visa or renew the existing one before the visa expired?

The visa expiration date is shown on the visa along with the visa issuance date. The time between visa issuance and expiration dates is called your visa validity. The visa validity is the length of time you are permitted to travel to a port-of-entry in the U.S. So she will be allowed if she enters into US before the expiry date on her visa.

The visa can be used uptil the last day of its validity.
