Hi everyone,

For a 6+months training in California, I applied and got 6months B-1 visa in Holland. I thought thats it, but at POE I wasn't aware of this I-94 issue. They have given me for 3months permission, which I wasn't aware of till now and at POE they didn't even mentioned anything about periode of staying in US.

So now I'm facing this problem, I've to leave in about 3months- and my training won't be even half way! I'd in thought to extend my visa anyway after 6months because of training, if needed! But what should I do now? Extension is a possibilities, but what if they reject? What is the minimum extension periode? I just arrived 4day's ago in US.

Please help and your advice is welcome!

File an I-539 when you are 30 days away from your I-94 expiry. Attach documentation (as official as possible) showing your ongoing training and depict clearly the end date of that training program. Also attach proof of boarding and lodging for the extension period.

No one can produce those possibility statistics for you I am afraid. Just file your I-539 in a timely fashion and take it from there.
