AUGUST - Visa revalidation tracking

Did they tell when it will be in the mail/Fed-ex .

Waiting for it guys , My ticket is on this wednsday .
 
As usual, they didnt tell when it will be in mail. But the rep said, it should be printed today. I dont what they mean by prinitng. I hope it doesnt have to go throught any QA crap. But you are travelling this wednesday, then you are taking a risk here. What are you going to do, if you dont get it by this wednesday?
 
Phone Calls to Department Of State(FYI)

Guys,

We cannot totally rely on the replies we get over phone when we call Department Of State(Washington D.C).

My story is like this last week.

I called the D.C Office On 12 th of this month at 3.30 P.M and the Answer is 'It will take few more weeks to process your application'.

I was not happy with the answer and called the office on 13th at 8.45 A.M and the answer is 'Visa is printed and it will be picked up by Fedex on that day' and that happend I recieved on 14th morning at 9.15 A.M.

You will not get it in time - if it has not been picked till now(if you are using FedEx ground).

Check your FedEx.

Visa approved 11/06

Still nothing on Fedex. Really worried where is my passport. Every time I called in DC, the officer always told me that I will receive it soon.

Why dont you ask if visa is approved? If it is approved and printed - just withdraw it - they cannot erase the stamping - they cannot remove pages either.
 
They did tell me that it is approved and printed and QA assured...

Even if I withdraw, it is still time consuming, right?

I have a family emergency, and I have to be stuck here forever, sigh...

Try to check the fedex now. looks like the lot of old PPS are picked up today. My Visa was approved on 11/8 and printed on 11/13 and picked up by 11/17.

Hope you will get it soon.
 
Visa Approved - D.C. Date September 8th

Hi Guys,
Just at 3:25PM EST, I called them and the Rep. told me that my visa was approved on November 14th,2003 FRIDAY.

SL DATE : August 19th,2003
DC DATE : September 8th,2003
Approved DATE : November 14th,2003

I just called, and rep said, my visa was not printed yet. She also said, she would take no guarantee, that the visa department will correct my credit card number. But she indicated that I should probably send a fax to the visa department stating my situation and the correct credit card number.
I dont know, if sending a fax is going to be a good idea. They may hold my passport for another few days. Instead, I will try to track my shipment and have Fedex do something for me. What would you guys do?

I also dont understand, what they are doing with my passport. They havent printed my visa yet. This is too much.

What you should do is call up fedex and give them the right credit card number and you tracking number, that should be everything that you can do right now.. and you are right if you try to withdraw the application will delay the process of printing the Visa.

Those are my thoughts.

Sept 8th approved

Just called DC. My visa was approved on Friday.

SL date: August 6th
DC date: Sept 8th
Approved: Nov 14th.

visa not yet printed.
