Processing July cases ??

SL date 4th Aug.
DC date refused to tell by lady


just called DC, lady told me that they are processing July cases
for Aug. it might take at least 2 weeks.

It's real dicey the way they work
from Aug 5th to Aug 22 nd they don't have any applications in DC or they just skipped all these applications.
Or they had a problem in St Louis during that period and they dumped all these applications which they received month july in DC Office After Aug 22.

Currently they are takiing 2 to 3 days to process applications received in one day.

My Travel date is Nov 26th , this keeps in huge dielama.

We can only wait guys can't make any predictions at this time

lady was nice this time, asked me pp number and other info and told me that H1B revalidation is issued today, don't no how much time it will take.

Currently processing 08/28/03..

Read somewhere that they have started Sept'03 too..

September 2nd SL Date

Is there any possiblity of getting visa stamped

1. Regular revalidation
2. Upon recall (withdraw) around 10-11 weeks of application submission date.

I need to travel on Nov 30 and not sure when to recall the revalidation application ?

I have read many august / september posts and loosing hopes on getting it stamped before leaving.

Can somebody share withdrawal duration from the time fax is sent ?

Is there a small percentage of chance of getting it stamped upon recall ?

Any experiences is highly appreciated
 
My Friend Sent to St Louis on Aug 9th and he received the passport on Nov 5. It took exactly 86 days for him.
 
Hi vanikadur, One of my friend got it stamped in 86 days. And one of other friend recalled it on the 85th day and he got it stamped.
 
FYI, Sent to St Louis on August 24, Received in DC in September 24. Called Visa office and confirmed and they told it will take 10 to 12 weeks on the date it was received in DC. But I i think I will get it by Nov 24. FYI I have the ticket booked on Dec 1st.

You should get it next week sometimes if nothing goes wrong.

If you recall - it will not be stamped.

Reasonably I would say wait till Nov 15, 2003 and then if you still do not get passport back - perhaps then think of options(based on what date is currently being processsed.)

My SL Rcv Date : 5th Aug
My DC Rcv Date : 2nd Sep

Hopefully i will get the PP back in two weeks.

I got one more question,

My wife planning to attend the Interview for H4 in Chennai consulate.

1. do any one have sample employment letter that needs to be submitted to the Consulate.

2. Should it include her name in that

3. or it just says Mr. So & So is workinging with us with xxx salary from 1/1/2000- to till date and his job responsibilities are this, this and this.

Any update or status guys , U are the closest in contest, jmxu must have got it approved by now.

I am still waiting. As per current statistics, Sep 02 cases should be approved today and mailed tomorrow. Let us see.

No luck on the Fedex yet....

I called DC yesterday. The lady still told me that I should wait until 12 weeks after my DC date (08/29). I do not know what is going on. My tickets is booked for 11/11/2003.
 
My DC date is Aug 29. I called up on 4rth Nov to know that they were processing last week Aug cases, may be i should call today to find out.

Anybody's date is Aug 29? please update when you get a chance.
