AUGUST - Visa revalidation tracking

Does DC office work on Saturday and/or Saturday? If they do, we may expect good news for some of our folks on this weekend as well. If they don't, how is it possible that they are working on Aug. 30 (Saturday) cases?

Here is my info

SL Date :7Aug
DC date:29 Aug
Visa Issued : 6th Nov

I was told it would go to printing either today or Monday.
I also want to share another bizarre experience. When I called the visa office first time today, I was told that my DC date is 6th Nov. I told the lady to check again, but she insisted that it would take 10-12 weeks after Nov 6. I was really shocked had sent my passport in Aug 1st week.
Then I again called the office again , and some other lady answered and now I was told that visa was issued yesterday(Nov 6)
I really do'nt know now who is correct. Hopefully it would have been issued.

I came to know about this forum yesterday itself, and it has been very helpful. Wish I had known earlier, that such a forum existed.

called dc office .

sent my pp to sl on 12 th and sl recd date is 08/13 .

No information yet . Lady told , they are processing july cases now .

booked ticket nov 20 th .

The lady must hve made a mistake telling you that your DC date is Nov 06. Don't worry, I think your approval date is 11/06.

I am in the same boat as you (DC date:08/29, approved 11/06). Anxiously waiting for the visa to be printed and mailed to me. The lady told me that it might take 2 weeks.
 
Time between Visa approval and Pedex Pickup

My visa revalidation details are

SL: 8th August
DC 8th Sept

Can somebody please tell me how long does it take between visa approval and Fedex pickup?

I called again to know abt dc rd date . Lady did n't tell the date and mentioned they don't give any status dates .

She said they are processing early august cases . Hope fully it reach 13 th august case soon .

That is too wishful a thinking. They do not work on Wednesday either. They have four working days only. The way trend is going I would say they will start processing DC Date of Sept 1, 2003 today itself (may be afternoon.).
 
Issued date and Recieved date ?

how much time does it take normally from issused date to
receive the passport by normal USPS priority mail ?

according to july tracking thread, it takes 2-3 days, then why for aug. it take 2 weeks for QA and printing ???
 
Called DC office

Hi Guys,

I just called DC office, the lady took the phone is too rude, here is the conversation

me: may i know the status of my visa revalidation?

lady : when did u sent?

me: Aug 18th

lady: we are currently processing early days of Aug cases.

me: may i know when my PP reached at DC office?

lady: u donot need about DC office. we consider the date u sent.
(then just hung up, end of the conversation).

she not even asked my PP details etc. :(

Thats really depends and there is no fixed limit.

Sometimes its posted the very next day and sometimes its posted 3-4 days later (as was in my case).
