Is anybody waiting on a Questionaire from DOL-Chicago? Heard it takes several weeks to get this.

I am into market research too, and I am on my OPT at present. I will be starting my PERM process in Jan 2006. Can you provide me the O*Net codes you used and also other pertinent information that you used when you applied for your H1 and PERM process. Also, I would like to know if I can contact you when I have questions regarding the immigration application process, especially PERM.

PERM Job Title Confusion.

People are posting that their PERM application is filled for the job title of:
"Senior Software Engineer" or "Senior System Analyst"

If you look at the
http://www.flcdatacenter.com/OesWiz...tateName=Kansas

You will not find any Job Title Starting with Senior. You can make the requirement BS + 20 years or MS + 15 years Experience but the Job title will still say Computer Software Engineer or Computer System Analyst.

I don't know why people are posting their case detail with a Title of SENIOR *****. They may be working for their company as SENIOR *** but when they apply I believe they have to choose a title from the list at O'NET

Not ncessarily, you can always use Sr title. But your job description with this Sr title will be evaluated by a analyst from Kansas Labor Dept (SWA) they will arrive at a suitable prevailing wage for you. O'Net is just give general idea of the jobs, if the job title does not fit in to any of those in the O'Net, SWA will decide the prevailing wage for those job not in the O'Net.[/QUOTE]

Position is: Senior Electronic Engineer (Req'd Master+0 year)
 
Perm applicatios have been frozen

Guys all the pending perm applications are frozen by DOL.They may not start processing until next year.My lawyer spoke to DOL and got this latest information. :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
Don't make other panic. I already withdrew the old cases from the system losing 2 years PD keeping hopes on this one by this month end max. Can you share more details on what your attorney said exactly.

I have been reading this forum from the time I applied in PERM and this forum has been a valuable guide to me.
Finally, by God's grace I got certified on 09/14.
Applied on 07/08
category:EB2
Processing center: Chicago
requirement:masters+0 years exp

I have only few weeks left to file my I-140 and I-485 concurrently.
Please advice what all documents do I need to produce for I-485.

Received Certified Hard Copy

Today we have received the hard copy of the certified 9089 application.

Case Filed on 07/01/05
Case was approved on 09/16/05
Hard Copy received on 09/19/05

Good luck to you all. I hope every one gets their approvals soon.
This thread has been extremely helpful at all fronts.
