Hello everyone!

I wanna ask something; what is the advantage of having your attorney present during the interview process? I mean, does it give a better impression to the AO or is it not important at all?

I appreciate your answers

You will be doing most if not all of the talking. So you decide. If you can afford it, go for it. Otherwise it is still not the end of the world. Many people have been successful without an attorney. I am one of them.

In my case, my attorney gave a closing statement. I had a very difficult case; I had been out of status for a long time. Also, when ever the AO misunderstood what I was saying (nerves can do that to a person) she clarified. Hope this helps and good luck!

In my case my attorney gave me a sense of security in case i didn't understand something or if the AO needed clarification. The process was nerve wrecking for me.
