Any updates at all??

I was speaking with my attorney & he says they are doing last week of August & 2nd week of Sept. I didnt see any updates here so was wondering if anyone had any updates for us..

Hi All ,
I am a new member to this forum. My LC status is Recd at Regional 18th Nov 2002 . I have been following this thread for some time now and decided to post my data here. It will be helpful if all members update their status , especially after they get their labor certified. There are so many applicants at the regional DOL at Atlanta and it is surprising to note that very few of them are writing here!! Hope there are more inputs to this forum!!

Please update LCTracker.XLS to enter your data. This is the tracker we are using here to enter Regional labor information.

This thread is not moving fast enough, seems like every one has got frustation with the progress of ATL DOL office. It is hard to keep the job safer nowdays due to layoffs and these guys are taking so much time to approve the labor. I am hoping once I will be out of job and may be out of US then they will approve.

I do not get any info via the email but the AVM tells me that my case was received on May 19th. Previous emails seems to suggest that they usually take much longer to input the cases in the system? Also, what makes it more strange is the following info from the Florida office:

Case Transmitted to USDOL 5/20/2003
Letter Acknowledging Transmission 5/14/2003
Ready to be Included in Batch 5/13/2003

so is it possible for Atlanta office to have received my case by May 19th?? And moreover also have it in the AVM? Folks, please post your thoughts/experience...

Can some one please explain how to understand the DOT code(Is there a place where there is a consolidated list of codes?) and also why some of the cases have already been approved which have the same received date as the others.

My Case was transferred to Atlanta DOL on Augutst 21 2002. This is what i know ,i dont have any receipt number or case number or what ever ? Did any one's Labour got certifiled after this date .

My Local labour is approved from NC ,so could some one let me know which service center will my attroney file for I-140/1-485 ?

North Carolina comes under Texas Service Center.

According to the recent postings, there are some people you got certified after Aug 21, 2002.

You can check your status using the automated system:

I think is not a valid email address lcstatus04@doleta.gov , could you please give me a correct email address.

I tried and got the same message today. Looks like currently there are some problems with the email system. Maybe we should try again tomorrow or try the automated voice system at : 404-562-2131.

To use the voice system, you might need the Employers tax id which can be located on your recent W2 form and also your employers phone no.

From the Automated voice message system i got the case number and DOT Number .

My case was received on Aug 26 th . I dont know why my attroney told Aug 21 st .

looks like the AVM is down today. Where do I obtain my case number from ? my regional case number different from the state case number ?
