Are asylees or asylee who became PR are subject to mandatory secondary inspection at return back from over seas trip at airport POE?

Are asylees or PR interviewed at POE?

No, there is no mandatory interview. I, for example, have never been to secondary inspection when returning to the US, and I entered both as an asylee and an LPR. However, many are sent to secondary, especially when using an RTD. If they get suspicious, I'm sure they have a right to question you, though.

It's more of an issue for a very long absence OR if an Asylee is returning from country of persecution.

Permit or no permit, people have MANY DIFFERENT issues to deal with on any admission to the U.S.

How the POE immigration officer know if you went to COP? By looking at the RTD or RP citizen/nationality?

If my RP says one country but I traveled to a different country which was the last country from where I moved to US can be also COP?

for example, if my RP says GERMANY as nationality, but FRANCE was the third country or country where I fled to from GERMANY and then moved to US, going to FRANCE can be COP?

Or the officer will just assume you didn't go to GERMANY as GERMANY is mentioned as nationality/citizenship?

The Officer knows what flight you just got off of.

If you stopped over in a 3rd country before coming to the U.S. before claiming asylum, the "firm resettlement" issue is dealt with PRIOR to a grant of asylum in the U.S. then becomes irrelevant.

WOW U MADE VERY GOOD POINT,

i still like to know more from asylees or LPR though asylees their own expereince at POE.

this upcoming trip will be my first trip overseas after 11 years and I am traveling with RP with no NP.

I do have 2 arrest records which are expunged, The charges were dismissed in first initial court appearance with no fines, no schools, no defered programs or those things , no community service or anything.
Can this still be an issue with the IO at POE? Should I take the expunged records with me ? with this 2 expunged arrest records, is it guaranteed that I will be subjected to secondary inspections and questionings?
I read and heard that expunged records are still excessible to authorities. I had no issue about it on my GC application.
I am traveling to the third country and I Hope I will be ok! but I did have some political trouble at the third country too which was mentioned in my asylum application. But my nationality in RP or GC is not that of the third country.
whats your thoughts and expereince?
