Hi everyone,
I filed my LPR based on asylum this month. My initial receipt date is July 9th, 2007. Anyone, who filed this on JULY 2007, please post your experiences here.
I have yet to receive fingerprint notice.

I do not know how long it is going to get my greencard. Does anybody have any idea? The USCIS website says I-485 filed after June 30, 2007 will be processed within 6 months.

Please post your experiences here. Thank you!

6 month timeframe is the goal. Now, with the problem of name checks pending, we can wait for several years.

Well, thank you that helps. So how long does it take to get a fingerprint notice after filing I-485? any ideas?

Please anyone else, who filed I-485 in JULY 2007, please post your comments here. I also concurrently filed RTD but already got my RTD in two weeks ...receipt date July 9th, 07 RTD received on July 24th! I had requested for expedited RTD.

We filed our 485s in July (notice date July 17th) and got our fingerprint notices a couple of weeks ago. Both were BIO 3 and for the same date & time (Aug. 22). For some reason, online case status doesn't mention that we were sent these notices but perhaps it's supposed to be that way.

fingerprint notice

Thanks Rusdude.

I got my fingerprint notice last week as well scheduled for August 23, 2007.
Please feel free to post any update on your case here.

Hi guys!
I filed my LPR based on asylum in the July, have received a receipt dated July 9th, 2007 (same like paradisecity).
But haven't gotten a fingerprint notice yet!!!

I'm just wondering why? What is a problem? If it's only a mail delivery issue is there any way to check that?! Does anybody have any idea?

Please post your experiences. Thank you!

I got my code 3 done on date sent. So I am waiting to see how long it is going to take through name clearance and finally receive my green card.

Anyone, else on JULY 2007 club? Keep your updates posted on this thread.

Very Fast

Hello.

I'm new here but I found very good information about cases like mine.

I'm surprised... and happy, of course. I sent my PR adjust package in July 23rd and my initial receipt was from 27th. Everything in Texas.

Fingerprints: August 28th.

Aproval notice: Sept. 10

GC in my hands: Sept. 13 (less than 2 months!!!!)

Now... I need to travel to Spain next week. I requested a RTD (RN in May 15th). I haven't receive it yet , but if I use my NP+GC (Spain is not my COP) to come back, the IO will notice that I asked for a RDT?

Thanks.

Well Acuario,

I have seen people suggesting to use GC+ NP to enter back and there are people who didnt have any problems so far. Many bring the issue of visiting your native country will have impact while applying for citizenship. Hope this helps!

I do not think that this should affect your travel plans. You still will have the GC and the NP which should be enough.
