Rajiv, I read all your posts and nothing looks like mine. Here is my situation.
140 approved in 2006
i-485 filed in July 2007 and Pending
AC-21 filed in May 2009
140 revoked by employer in Dec 2009
i-485s denied in Dec 2009.
MTR filed in Jan 2010 and waiting....till now.
I filed AC-21 five months(5 months) before my employer revoked the 140 .
Filed MTR stating the same and till far there is no response from USCIS. Do not have a H1B as a backup.
How do I proceed now? Any suggestions ? Why is USCIS so blind not to see that I filed a AC-21 before denying our i-485's ? Please post your Answers.

I have been waiting for a while for my greencard. My I-485 is still pending while my priority dates is Jan 2006 in EB 3 category. I got laid off recently and need to travel to India for my brother’s wedding. I have my current EAD and I-131. Is it safe to travel even though I’m not currently employed? Do I need any other documents?
