Are we required to file AC21 if company gets taken over?

I am over the 6 month period of I485 with I140 approced. I wanted to know if there is a need to file AC21 as some other company has taken over my sponsoring company. The Tax ID has also changed. However, I am still employed at the same location in the same position and same salary.

I would not inform USCIS of your job change unless they ask. When they do, you will probably need to claim AC21 portability, but a proactive filing seems to be a waste of time.
