Immigration visa petitions filed after May 15, 2007 on the basis of the curreny employment-based preference system will be rejected

During the period between May 15, 2007 and the date the new merit based system is up and running (likely oct 1, 2008), no new employment based green card applications can be filed....

Oh no......
 
Its still not law yet. But if get passed without amendment and survives the compromise with house, and president signs it, we will be in trouble.
